JAMESON DUROSS, popularly known as "Sonny", is an accomplished seasoned actor, having been in over one hundred musicals, plays, cabarets, independent films and other professional projects. He began his acting career back in Fall 2001 starring in his middle school musical, "Teens in Tinseltown", then went on hiatus until he picked up acting again in high school in Spring 2004 with the musical, "The Boyfriend". He has been at it ever since. He is highly honored to have met so many awesome people, established such wonderful friendships, and experienced extremely amazing opportunities throughout his life.

 

He is also a published author, having published two books of poetry in 2013, and later combining them into a single volume with added material in 2015. Musings & Emotions is available here on Amazon.

He enjoys creating immensely, and has numerous YA Fantasy/Fiction novels in the works, including two different vampire series: My Heart For Your Blood and Fatal Nightfall, as well as a monster hunter series, Nathan Hensley: Monster Hunter.

He is also working on producing his first music album, which contains nearly two dozen original songs.

 

In his spare time he enjoys reading, writing, watching TV, playing video games, surfing the web, sleeping, shopping, and spending time with friends. He currently resides in upstate New York, where he was born and raised, and has worked at his local library for nearly two decades.
